This workbook guides a coaching and mentoring program designed to develop essential skills for direct support professionals in human services. The program, which can be delivered in either a small group or one-on-one format, uses mentor meetings to focus on person-centered support. Employees will learn to practice active listening, respectful communication, and individual empowerment.
