Crisis Intervention Training
The Academy’s CONNECT Crisis Intervention Training is a comprehensive program designed to equip individuals and organizations to help people in crisis. The training provides insights into human behavior and why the brain works as it does. We teach, in a practical and easily implemented way, about connection, the crisis cycle, and the anger response with useful interventions and responses as de-escalation tactics to help those in distress and to avoid further escalating crisis situations. This training can be conducted as full or partial day sessions, series, or standalone classes.
