Description

This policy establishes an internal monitoring and quality assurance system to ensure high-quality, person-centered services for individuals with developmental disabilities. The system is overseen by a Quality Assurance (QA) Committee that analyzes data to continuously improve services. Key components include quarterly audits of individual files to ensure they are complete and secure, as well as a yearly formal audit using the OPSR Provider Compliance Agency Review Tool to verify compliance with provider certification rules, employee qualifications, and fiscal accountability. The policy also mandates weekly and quarterly reviews of incident reports, monthly monitoring of staff turnover, and regular satisfaction surveys to identify trends and improve service delivery. All findings from these monitoring activities are used to develop and implement corrective action plans.
